The Inverness Mountaineering Club was set up in 1950 to encourage mountaineering in the Highlands and to organise transport to the hills. Over fifty years later, the objectives are still the same; members go summer and winter hillwalking, rock climbing and ice climbing, ski mountaineering, caving, camping, backpacking and sea kayaking – it’s not just for the “hard” climbers!
The IMC meets every Thursday evening at 9:30PM at Nico's Bar, Glen Mhor Hotel, Ness Walk, Inverness, a short distance from the town centre. |
