IMC Dinner Dance

The 2005 IMC annual Dinner Dance has been organised for the 12th November, at Plockton Village Hall.
With a sumptuous buffet provided by The Plockton Inn to dig into, and live music from Buscoe Sike to get dancing to, this promises to be a great night, and a great weekend...
Date: Saturday 12th November, 7 for 7:30pm
Venue: Plockton Village Hall
Band: Buscoe Sike
Grub: provided by The Plockton Inn, a sumptuous buffet with hot and cold dishes.

The menu being offered is as follows:

Spicy Chicken Kebabs Kulebiaka (Russian salmon pie, wrapped in pastry)
Moroccan Lamb Casserole
Steamed Mussels with a tomato, basil and garlic dressing
Vegetable Chilli
Green
Salad Baked Potatoes
Chickpea and Couscous Salad
Rice Salad
Coleslaw

White Chocolate Cheesecake
Raspberry Pavlova
Fresh Fruit Salad
Selection of Local Cheese with oatcakes


You will need to provide your own drinks (BYOB) but word has it that Ewen will be organizing beer nearer the time.

<Tickets: Dinner and ceilidh £20 We will be offering 17 Limited Edition ‘Grub, Jig and Bunk’ tickets for £28.50 at the Station Bunkhouse and 2x2 Deluxe edition ‘Grub, Jig n’B&B’ tickets for £37 per head at Nessun Dorma just beside the Bunkhouse which has a double and twin room. These tickets will be sold by Jo Kinghorn and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Other recommended

Accommodation: Some other options which are bookable directly (but please quote the IMC) are at Craig Highland Farm with 2 to 4 bed chalets available for £15pppn which is round the coast a bit on the road to Achmore. Contact Patti or Terry Heaviside on 01599-544205). A taxi costs approx £5 to the village.
The Plockton Inn have 14 rooms and are offering a special price of £25pppn B&B (usually £35) with good beer on tap and they are located near the village hall. There are a number of other establishments in the general vicinity which you can find out about through the tourist office if you so wish.
