By joining the Inverness Mountaineering Club, members can take full advantage of:
- Meeting other like-minded walkers and climbers to go walking, cragging and climbing.
- Regular weekend meets where members can organise hillwalking, climbing or other outdoor activities.
- Social Events like Annual Dinner, BBQ, Christmas Meal and Burns Supper.
- Full access to information on the IMC Website
- Library with walking and climbing books and guides
- Quarterly Newsletter with reports of previous meets and walks, and with schedules of forthcoming events.
- Discounts with local mountaineering shops (usually with good discounts on end of season climbing and walking gear)
- Affiliation to the MCofS (Mountaineering Council of Scotland), including civil liability insurance cover and quarterly copies of the Scottish Mountaineer magazine.

Membership is open to anyone over the age of 16, and you can come along on one meet before joining to see if it the club offers what you are looking for.
The club meets every thursday night at 9:30 in Nico's bar, in the Glen Mhor Hotet on the banks of the River Ness in Inverness. You are welcome to come down and join us there.
The current subscription runs to 30 June 2008, and is:
- Ordinary members £21
- Unwaged/OAP/under 18 £12
- Couple £33
